Stefanie H. Lackey
Head Trainer & Instructor
Growing up in the industry, horses have been a lifelong passion for Stefanie. As a Junior/Young Rider, she was able to ride up the levels in both Dressage & Hunter Jumpers throughout the Southeast while working under several top trainers. In 2001 Stefanie went into business with her mother, a Grand Prix dressage rider & trainer, and started Signature Sporthorses in Alpharetta, GA. She soon found her calling, teaching & coaching and has successfully guided horse & rider combinations to countless GHJA Championships, USEF HOTY titles, USDF & GDCTA Championships & Pony Finals.
Stefanie has a passion for working with the "underdog" - both horse & rider alike. She believes every horse & rider has the potential to succeed when given the right guidance, patience & encouragement. She has said, her favorite part of teaching is watching a rider & horse's confidence grow, creating happy & confident partnerships.
